The eyepiece is the terminal imaging component close to the observer's eye in the optical system, which achieves clear magnified visual effects through high eyepoint design, diopter adjustment and multi-layer coating technology, and supports reticle scale superposition or digital image output. The objective lens is a front-end optical component close to the object to be measured, relying on high numerical aperture (NA), achromatic/apochromatic design, and infinity correction technology to clearly focus on small objects, providing basic imaging capabilities for microscopes, telescopes, industrial testing equipment, etc.
1. Eyepiece
Definition: A lens or set of lenses at one end near the observer's eye that magnifies the image of the objective to make the final image easy for the human eye to see.
Core Functions:
Magnify the real image formed by the objective lens to further improve the overall magnification;
Correction of aberrations (e.g., chromatic aberration, distortion) and improvement of image quality;
Provide an appropriate exit pupil distance to ensure observation comfort.
2. Application scenarios
Microscope: the real image formed by the magnifying objective, the common magnification is 5×, 10×, 15×, etc.;
Telescope: magnifying the real image of a distant object formed by the objective lens, while adjusting the angle of view to make the image clear;
Measuring instruments (e.g. spectrometers, microscopic eyepieces): used for precise observation and measurement of image details.

2.Classification by application scenario:

Astronomical telescope objectives: Large-aperture design for improved light collection, common refractive, reflective or catadioptric structures.
